For smelting of high-quality metal for the applications in transport vehicles, it is necessary to limit content harmful impurities it, including dissolved gases. example, hydrogen finished product should not exceed more than 2 ppm. In order obtain low residual steel converter shop JSC EVRAZ NTMK, processed at circulating vacuuming plants. Circulating vacuum degasser last stage processing before casting on continuous machine, so important study and improve technological processes it. To investigate physico-chemical occurring this metallurgical unit, a hydrodynamic model was created system that includes ladle. Based theoretical calculations using physical experiments conducted, main dependencies between structural parameters unit were determined. The resulting equation makes possible determine rate circulation chamber depending gas flow supplied inlet snorkel its inner diameter plants designed ladles with capacity 140–180 tons. Theoretical confirmed by practical steelmaking unit. It shown stable during wear lining chamber, make changes process vacuuming. Additionally, rational plant determined basis calculations.
